For level 3's the drake probably isn't even the fastest. Any BC tier 1 or 2 will do 3's fine with decent skills. Your racial BC will be the best choice for your racial missions. I.E. A harby will kill Sansha's the fastest etc etc...

The only thing that has changed about the drake is metagamers perception of it. Thats all it takes in any game. People play 2 10 offsuit in poker just because Doyle did.
